Are you an experienced Event & Community Manager with a talent for creating impactful events and fostering meaningful connections? In this role, you'll lead the strategy and execution of in-person and virtual events (80%), while overseeing community-driven initiatives (20%) to drive engagement and build lasting relationships. What You'll Do:
Event Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, execution and measurement of B2B lead generation virtual and in-person programs, including trade shows and 3rd party programs, virtual events and monthly webinars. Contribute to the development of the company’s event demand strategy, identifying new opportunities for brand engagement, audience and inbound MQL growth, and market penetration.
Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop event briefs, manage project timelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution. Partner with marketing, sales, and channel partner teams to align event goals with broader company priorities.
Marketing & Promotion: Work with the various marketing functions to promote events through digital channels, email campaigns, 1:1 outreach, social media, and other promotional tactics to drive registration and meet attendance goals.
Reporting & Data Analysis: Ensure event drives pipeline, engagement, and aligns with the overall business goals. Report on key results and learnings from events. Use data and insights to iterate and adjust the strategy for future events, continuously improving our calendar, processes and outcomes.
Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets, optimizing resources while delivering high-quality experiences. Negotiate with vendors to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Vendor & Partner Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners to enhance event success. Oversee contracts and ensure all deliverables meet expectations.
Community Strategy & Oversight: Develop and drive the strategy for community engagement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Oversee a team member responsible for executing outreach, fostering partnerships, and planning community-driven events.
Relationship Building & Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key community members and partners, leveraging feedback and industry trends to enhance engagement and ensure initiatives remain impactful and relevant.
Must Have:
Experience in Event Management: 5+ years of proven experience in organizing and executing events and engagement initiatives. Experience working with SaaS companies is a plus.
Proficiency in Event Planning: Strong understanding of best practices in event management, including strategy development, attendee engagement, and logistics coordination. Proven ability to plan and execute large-scale, high-impact events and programs (both virtual and in-person)
Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build rapport with community members and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Results-Driven: A goal-oriented mindset with a track record of successfully achieving and surpassing event and community engagement goals.
Team Player & Independent Worker: Ability to excel both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
