In case you needed more validation to move to SuperOps
Atera is cheap on the surface but all the add-ons factored in it ends up costing more than other vendors + less functionality.
Almost everything about atera is frustrating.
We tried it for a couple of months and we had to find a work around for literally everything.
Been using it since beginning of 2022. Due to the bad reception of my techs, myself, and administration I've been giving the go-ahead to move off of this hellscape of a platform.
Atera sucks, from the software, to their support team, I honestly have nothing good to say. Some PCs would show offline, when the they were online, someone wouldn’t show up at all.
It's a very "meh" product. Ticketing/Billing works, but is meh, is missing a lot of features that ought to be standard on a PSA. Remote control works, nothing special Monitoring "works", not very customisable, can't store snmp history, again a meh Patching works, but is meh Remote software installation works sometimes, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes I need to clear the cache. Again another meh. Price is meh
