Compare
A comparison of ConnectWise and Gorelo across pricing, RMM and PSA depth, automation, and support, to help a growing service business weigh where its technicians and budget are better spent.
The information below comes from each vendor's own documentation, published pricing, and verified reviews on Capterra, since Gorelo does not yet maintain a public G2 profile. The comparison covers RMM capability, PSA and billing workflows, automation and AI, ticketing, support, and total cost, the areas that most directly affect how an MSP runs day to day.
Here is how ConnectWise PSA and Gorelo compare across the criteria MSP buyers weigh most.

ConnectWise sells PSA, RMM, remote access, backup, and disaster recovery as distinct products. ScreenConnect is the only one with a published rate; the rest require a sales conversation.
Gorelo publishes all three of its tiers directly, with no long-term contract attached. Full Platform Access, at $99 per user monthly, bundles RMM, PSA, documentation, billing, and AI and automation together. Teams needing less can choose PSA Only for service delivery and billing, or Co-Managed for single-client delivery and remote management.
ConnectWise's AI runs through two products. Sidekick works across PSA and RMM, helping technicians categorize and triage tickets, suggest resolutions, and generate scripts. zofiQ, added through a recent acquisition, focuses on automating triage, resolution steps, and documentation specifically within PSA workflows.
Gorelo’s automation covers rule-based workflows: event and time triggers, conditions tied to ticket details or business hours, and chained actions such as assigning tickets, setting priorities, or generating checklists. Billing automation tracks quantities against assets and has Pax8 and CIPP integration. The AI layer runs five functions: client sentiment analysis, response draft from a prompt, script generation on request, automatic tags, and long ticket thread summarization. Gorelo's patch management, by contrast, runs on a policy-based deferral and deadline model.
Monica AI works across the SuperOps platform, connecting helpdesk, endpoint management, patching, and documentation. That shared context means a ticket can bring together the relevant device history, asset information, previous resolutions, and endpoint state rather than requiring technicians to investigate each source separately. Monica can surface fixes from similar past tickets, provide patch guidance using stability and community deployment intelligence, and turn plain-language instructions into scripts.

Deployment model | Cloud or on-premise | Cloud-native |
ConnectWise offers two RMM products. ConnectWise RMM is the cloud-native option, combining built-in ScreenConnect remote access with automated patching across thousands of third-party applications. ConnectWise Automate is the more established platform, built for teams that want deeper scripting and on-premises deployment, with a correspondingly longer setup and more ongoing management involved.
Gorelo covers Windows and macOS through native agents, while other device types are tracked as custom assets rather than a full agent install. Windows patching mirrors an Intune-style approach, with WinGet for third-party software updates management. Technicians get a background CLI with guided scripting for direct control, and monitoring spans event logs, connectivity, processes, services, antivirus status, processor and memory usage, and ping, with critical alerts directly sent to mobile devices.
SuperOps manages Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices through a centralized platform, with zero-touch MDM enrollment through Apple ADE and Android Enterprise. Patching uses severity-based approval policies to deploy critical security updates immediately while staggering less urgent ones, and Monica provides AI-generated patch summaries, community sentiment analysis, and observed stability scores before deployment. Network monitoring auto-detects devices from 250+ manufacturers and supports SNMP, ICMP, and SSH monitoring, with dynamic topology maps and policy-based automatic remediation helping teams identify and resolve issues proactively.

ConnectWise PSA includes multi-tier SLA management, detailed reporting and analytics, full project management with milestone tracking, and flexible billing rules, built for MSPs running more complex service operations. Built-in AI assists with ticket categorization and triage as part of the same workflow.
Gorelo's contract structure covers four types, Unlimited, Limited, Block, and Per Hour, with quantities tracked against actual assets rather than fixed estimates. Billing syncs both ways with Xero and QuickBooks, and M365 billing runs through direct integrations with Pax8 and CIPP. The platform also surfaces contract profitability, margin, and revenue recognition automatically and flags billing opportunities that might otherwise go uncaptured; at least one independent MSP review describes Gorelo's overall reporting depth as still developing relative to more established competitors.
PSA in SuperOps is integrated with its RMM and MDM capabilities, giving technicians access to live device, ticket, and contract context within the same platform. Technicians can move between ticketing, endpoint management, patching, remote access, and automation without relying on separate products. Time and worklogs are tied to the appropriate contracts, with real costs factored into contract profitability reporting to give MSPs an up-to-date view of client performance.
ConnectWise PSA accepts tickets from multiple channels, applies intelligent dispatching, and routes them through configurable workflows with multi-tier SLA management layered on top. Getting the most out of this typically requires investing time in configuring the wider ConnectWise ecosystem around it.
Gorelo structures ticketing around threaded client conversations, smart templates, and a form builder to keep requests organized. Technicians working the same ticket get live chat with @mentions, shared visibility, and collision detection, alongside dynamic checklists, approval flows, and shipment tracking that adjust depending on the type of ticket.
Tickets in SuperOps can come through email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or the IT portal, with relevant device context attached. Monica AI can surface relevant knowledge base articles as users describe an issue, helping resolve some Tier-1 requests before they reach a technician, while resolved tickets can contribute to the knowledge base. From within the ticket workflow, technicians can access remote support, patching, and scripting tools without switching between platforms.
ConnectWise backs its platform with ConnectWise University, certification programs, and a network of implementation partners. Its G2 Quality of Support score sits at 7.5 out of 10, with reviewers citing inconsistent response times, particularly around complex deployments.
7.5/10
G2 Quality of Support
Gorelo runs support through chat and an active Discord community, with self-service documentation for routine questions. There is no staffed round the clock coverage. Teams that need guaranteed 24/7 live support from the outset should factor that into the decision. One thing to note: The good score on Capterra is based on a considerably smaller review sample.
5.0/5
Capterra Customer Service
ConnectWise suits MSPs managing larger or more complex environments that need deep scripting, formal project management, and access to a broad partner ecosystem. Its pricing is typically customized, and reviewers commonly note that setup and configuration can require more time and expertise.
Gorelo suits teams that want RMM and PSA in one platform at published pricing with no lock-in contracts, particularly those that value integrated contract billing and service delivery workflows. The trade-off is platform maturity and scope: its native RMM agents currently cover Windows and macOS, and independent reviews suggest that reporting is still developing compared with more established platforms. Its public review history is also smaller than that of longer-established vendors such as ConnectWise.

It’s integral to how we operate at the moment. It’s effectively the backbone of IT. The more you bring into SuperOps, the more powerful and unified your operations become.

SuperOps has been a great blessing to me as the director of an IT team. My management sees the improvements I've made, which I couldn't have done without SuperOps. To have that tool in my toolbox is invaluable.

Published pricing. AI that works accross your operations. A guided path to switch without unnecessary disruption
We have them answered.
There is no single objectively "better" platform, since it depends on team size and how much configuration time is available. Commonly cited alternatives, each solving a different tradeoff, include NinjaOne (RMM-first, PSA typically through partners), Atera (bundled RMM/PSA), Gorelo (flat per-user pricing, PSA and RMM together), and SuperOps (unified PSA, RMM, native MDM, and agentic AI on one architecture). ConnectWise tends to be recommended for larger, established MSPs that need deep scripting and project management and have someone dedicated to configuration; teams that want faster setup and published pricing generally look at the alternatives above instead.
