Atera prices by technician count. MSP plans start at $129 per month per technician billed annually, while IT team plans start at $149 per month per technician on the same terms. Both cover unlimited devices, which keeps budgeting simple as the fleet grows. A few things sit outside the base price, though: Network Discovery (for monitoring all devices across your network including unmanaged endpoints and SNMP devices) costs an extra $29 per month per technician, and Robin, Atera's AI tool, is billed separately per user.

Gorelo works on a per-user basis across three published tiers, with no long-term lock-in. Its most popular plan, Full Platform Access, runs $99 per user monthly billed yearly and bundles RMM, PSA, documentation, billing, AI and automation, and project management. For teams that don't need the full package, two lighter options exist: PSA Only at $59 per user monthly for service delivery and billing, and Co-Managed at $39 per user monthly for single-client service delivery and remote management modules.

Automation and Agentic AI in Atera vs Gorelo

AI and automation in Atera

Atera splits its AI into two layers. AI Copilot comes with every plan and assists technicians with tickets, scripts, CLI commands, knowledge base articles, and remote session summaries. Robin, Atera’s autonomous agent, goes further, taking ownership of an IT request from intake through resolution and running approved device and cloud actions on its own. Robin’s pricing is not published and access requires a separate demo.

AI and automation in Gorelo

Gorelo automation covers rule-based workflows, event and time triggers, conditions tied to ticket details or business hours, and chained actions such as assigning tickets, setting priorities, or generating checklists. Billing automation tracks quantities against assets and integrates with Pax8 and CIPP for M365 billing. The AI layer runs five functions: Sentiment Analysis flags client mood, Suggested Reply drafts responses from a prompt, Guided Scripting generates scripts on request, Automatic Tags applies tags from a defined list, and Summarization condenses long ticket threads.

Monica

Monica AI works across helpdesk, endpoint management, patching, and documentation, with context from every ticket, device, asset, and previous resolution. When a ticket opens, the relevant operational history is already available, helping technicians investigate issues and surface fixes from similar past incidents.

Deployment model

Cloud-native

Cloud or On-premises

Atera runs RMM as a single cloud-native platform across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Remote access comes built in through Splashtop and AnyDesk at no extra cost, while TeamViewer and ScreenConnect are available as bring-your-own-license integrations. AI Copilot, included on every plan, works directly inside the RMM to diagnose devices in real time, generate scripts, and flag alerts proactively.

Gorelo's RMM runs on Windows and macOS agents, with other device types tracked through custom assets. Windows Updates follow an Intune-like approach, while third-party applications are managed through WinGet. A background CLI with guided scripting gives technicians hands-on control. Monitoring covers event logs, connectivity, processes, services, antivirus, processor, memory, and ping, with critical alerts sent directly to mobile devices.

SuperOps manages Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, iPadOS, and Android from a single policy engine, with zero-touch MDM enrollment through Apple ADE and Android Enterprise. Patching runs on severity-based policies, pushing critical updates out immediately while deferring less urgent ones, and Monica adds AI stability scores plus community sentiment before anything deploys. Network visibility extends to 250+ device manufacturers through SNMP and ICMP monitoring with topology maps, and auto-remediation steps in before issues ever escalate.

Every Atera subscription includes PSA as a native part of the platform. Ticketing, scheduling, and ticket automation rules are included by default, and SLA tracking and CSAT scores appear in the same dashboard technicians already use for ticket management. Billing exports connect directly to QuickBooks and Xero. AI Copilot, included on the same plan, generates ticket summaries, drafts suggested responses, and proposes solutions within the ticketing workflow.

Gorelo's contract structure covers four types: Unlimited, Limited, Block, and Per Hour, with quantities tracked against actual assets rather than fixed estimates. Billing syncs both ways with Xero and QuickBooks, and M365 billing runs through direct integrations with Pax8 and CIPP.  Where it stands out is on the reporting side: profitability, margin, and revenue recognition get surfaced automatically, and the system flags billing opportunities that would otherwise slip through.

PSA in SuperOps isn't a separate module bolted onto RMM and MDM. It's built on the same data layer. That means a ticket never opens cold: device context is already there, and technicians can push a patch, launch remote access, or run a script without leaving the screen. SLA enforcement happens through automatic triggers, both event-based and time-based, so escalation and routing don't rely on someone remembering to check a clock. For MSPs specifically, time entries tie to contract type on their own, which removes one of the more tedious parts of month-end billing.

Help desk and ticketing in Atera vs Gorelo

Help desk and ticketing in Atera

Atera's helpdesk accepts requests through email, a brandable customer portal with self-service knowledge base access, and a native mobile app that lets technicians create and update tickets on the go. Monitoring alerts can be configured to generate tickets automatically, and keyword-based auto-tagging classifies incoming requests, which automation rules then use to route tickets to the right technician. Robin, sold as a separate product, can handle common end-user requests autonomously from intake through resolution.

Help desk and ticketing in Gorelo

Gorelo treats ticketing as a collaboration space, with threaded client conversations, smart templates, and a form builder to keep requests structured. Technicians working a ticket get live chat with @mentions, shared visibility, and collision detection so two people don't step on each other, alongside workflow tools like dynamic checklists, approval flows, and shipment tracking that shift depending on the kind of ticket it is.

Monica

Tickets in SuperOps can originate from email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or the IT portal, arriving with full device context attached from the start. As users describe their issue, Monica AI surfaces relevant knowledge base articles, deflecting most of the Tier-1 tickets before a technician ever sees them, and every resolved ticket feeds back into the knowledge base automatically. This way, the system gets sharper over time. From inside the ticket itself, technicians can launch a remote session to push a patch or run a script, no screen switching required.

Support and community comparison of Atera vs Gorelo

Atera community and support

Atera backs its platform with a help center, community forum, Atera Academy, and live and on-demand webinars, alongside a shared script library and a public status page for uptime tracking. Community presence extends to Reddit and Facebook plus a UserVoice board for feature requests. There is also a beta program for teams wanting early access to new releases.

4.5

Capterra Customer Service

 Gorelo Community and Support

Gorelo leans on chat support, an active Discord community, and self-service documentation, rather than staffing round-the-clock live support. The Discord space and knowledge base cover most day-to-day troubleshooting and product learning needs, though teams that specifically need 24/7 live support from the outset may find Atera the better match. Worth noting: Unlike Atera, Gorelo's near-perfect Capterra score reflects a small, early-adopter review base only.

Atera vs Gorelo: Which platform is right for you?

Atera fits MSPs and IT departments looking for an all-in-one platform with transparent per-technician pricing and unlimited endpoints. Easier onboarding and PSA built directly into the platform make it appealing for teams that want to move fast, though buyers should factor in that MDM coverage isn't as clearly established here.

Gorelo suits teams that want strong PSA and billing workflows paired with RMM, with AI woven into ticketing. Pricing is published in full across three tiers with no lock-in, and contract profitability reporting gives a clear read on margins. The tradeoff is scope: native RMM only extends to Windows and macOS, and support runs through chat and Discord rather than round-the-clock live coverage.

Frequently
asked questions

We have them answered.

It depends on your operating model. Atera may suit teams that want RMM, PSA, ticketing, and AI assistance in one cloud-based product with published per-technician pricing. N-able offers a broader product portfolio, with N-sight designed for faster adoption and N-central offering more configuration depth for complex environments. SuperOps is another option for teams that want RMM, PSA, native MDM, and agentic AI on one architecture.
