AGENT AUTONOMY LEVELS
Each agent progresses from observation to controlled autonomy
Approve a fix once, and it runs exactly as approved wherever the issue shows up again. Autonomy is set per playbook, so trust grows where the evidence supports it, without widening access anywhere else.
LEVEL 1
Shadow
The agent observes and records the action it would take. A human remains in control while the evidence base grows.
LEVEL 2
Assist
The agent prepares the action, scope, and rollback path. A human reviews and approves the execution.
LEVEL 3
Auto
Approved, low-risk work runs within policy. Exceptions return to a person, and every outcome enters the audit ledger.
KILL SWITCH
One action, every agent stops
Disable any agent, or all of them, in one action. Anything in progress halts immediately and falls back to a person. Removing a sponsor's access immediately removes autonomy from every agent under them.
